Sandstouch soap and shampoo bars are very special. They are uniquely designed, beautifully styled and made entirely by hand only from plant oils and natural ingredients. They contain no preservatives or chemical additives whatsoever, their colouring is naturally sourced and their perfume and therapeutic qualities are derived from 100% pure Indonesian essential oils.

Out of concern for our fast-disappearing rain-forest we do not use either palm oil or palm kernel oil in Sandstouch soaps and shampoo bars, (see "Why We Don't Use Palm Oil" in the menu bar to the right.)

Packaging of all Sandstouch products is kept to a bare minimum and any packaging we do use is from recycled sources wherever possible.

Glycerin is a humectant, meaning it attracts moisture to your skin. Glycerin is a natural by-product of the soap-making process and while commercial manufacturers remove the glycerin for use in their more profitable lotions and creams, Sandstouch soaps keep all their natural moisturizing glycerin so they don’t dry your skin.
