The prices of essential oils can vary greatly depending on the rarity of the plant, the conditions in which the plant was grown, the efficiency of the distillation process and how much oil can be extracted from each individual plant.

Beware of outlets that have all their oils on sale at the same price. It is likely that they are selling adulterated fragrance oils, NOT pure essential oils.
